    Nicky co-founded and was CEO of Best Foot Forward since 1997. Best Foot Forward became one of Europe’s leading sustainability consultancies and was acquired by Anthesis in 2013. She has played a leading role in theoretical, policy and practical advances in sustainability for over 25 years, including development of the science of ecological footprinting with Craig Simmons and Matthias Wackernagel.

    Nicky is an authority on creating new business models for businesses to change and adapt to a future of constrained resources, global warming and evolving consumer expectations. She has worked with companies such as IHG, GSK, Volkswagen, Coca Cola and Tesco to understand the strategic actions required to future-proof their business. She brings a challenging, evidence-based approach to corporate strategy, innovation, communications and change management.

    She likes to have five crazy ideas before breakfast, and she is now writing a book on sustainable business which may include some of them
