Speaker Bio:

Mark Pettigrew is the European Agricultural Sustainability Manager for PepsiCo.

He led the development and implementation of PepsiCo’s ’50 in 5’ project, an industry-leading collaboration with British potato farmers which successfully reduced the carbon emissions and water usage for potato growing in water stressed areas by 50% over a five year period. He is now working on extending PepsiCo’s sustainable agriculture initiatives throughout Europe and with the company’s potato, apples and oats growers.

Prior to this, Mark held a variety of roles at PepsiCo in Europe, with extensive experience in developing secure supply chains, providing best practice to farmers and developing new potato variety programmes.
