Head of Food Waste Reduction, Tesco PLC
Mark is responsible for supporting the Group on the development and implementation of Tesco’s strategy for tackling supply chain, operational and household food waste. He is also responsible for engaging external stakeholders, colleagues and customers on sustainable food production and consumption. Previously, Mark managed Tesco’s product carbon footprinting programme including the development of a framework to measure and track progress against supply chain reduction targets and working with Category and suppliers to footprint and deliver best practice advice to over 400 dairy farms. Prior to joining Tesco, Mark worked as environmental consultant, specialising in lifecycle assessment.
