Leslie Berger- Food & Farming Sustainability Consultant, ADAS

  • Speaker Bio:

    Leslie is a Food & Farming Sustainability Consultant with over 25 years of experience in global agri-food supply chain analysis.  Leslie works  as part of an ADAS team of consultants with clients such as Sainsbury’s, Aldi,  PepsiCo, and Compass to help build more resilient raw material supply chains to reduce business risk and build competitive advantage.  Her experience includes engaging with producers to assess supply chain opportunities and risks, advising on company strategy on key sustainability issues, and identifying ways to improve resource efficiency in production.  Leslie has provided independent consultancy support to American, British, French and South African commercial organisations and governments.  Leslie also has practical farm management experience gained through co-managing an arable family farm in East Anglia.  Prior to working with ADAS Leslie served as Agricultural Economist for USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service.
