Inder is currently the Head of Sustainability for Nestle UK & Ireland leading the company’s work in the area of creating shared value in the field of Sustainability. He has worked internationally for several years pioneering holistic programmes that integrate systems reducing environment, social and safety impacts. He successfully implemented Safety and Environment ISO standards for over 100 factories worldwide. He is currently leading a holistic strategy for sustainable manufacturing along the supply chain from source to consumers, notable success have included – zero waste to landfill, reduction in energy & water and in creating butterfly meadows. Achievement to date includes winning the FDF Gold Environment Awards for the work in Biodiversity, Business Green Leaders Awards 2013 for Every Last Drop campaign. An active member of various Industry Lead bodies for the Food Industry, currently the Chairman of: the FDF Water and Natural Capital group, the Environment Agency Food Industry Liaison Group and a member of the BSI ISO Water Footprinting Committee. A keen sportsman playing hockey, golf and football.
