    Speaker Bio: 

    Dr. Denyse Julien is a Senior Lecturer in the CLSCM.  In addition, she is the Course Director for the Full Time MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Procurement and Supply Chain Management. Denyse manages the Food@Cranfield Research Network which brings together industrialists to discuss and explore topical issues for the sector.  Denyse was also the Principle Investigator on the SCALE (Step Change in Agrifood Logistics Ecosystems) project of which Cranfield was the Lead Partner.  Before joining Cranfield in 2005 Denyse worked at Nestlé.   Denyse has lived and worked in; Trinidad, USA, U.K., Switzerland and Australia.  In addition, in her last position she was required to work with and visit Nestlé operations across a very wide range of countries including Pakistan, India, Japan, South Africa, Indonesia and Singapore.  This has provided Denyse with first-hand experience of the differences in operations and cultures and the subsequent challenges to Managers in the Food sector.
